"It’s not hard if you love it. Follow your childhood dreams." - Owner, Zack Strigin

GripDeck Owner

Zack Strigin

Zack started GripDeck with the average Joe in mind. His hands at the time were the weak point of his armwrestling game. So he designed something that he could use anywhere, and that anyone could use, beginner or experienced. In chasing his entrepreneurial nature, he sought out a business built on helping others, a company built on quality, and innovative products.

The goal moving forward is partnering with as many World-renowned athletes as possible, as they hold the qualities that the business is after for itself. To become a household name will require 7 days a week of hardwork and for years. The massive growth that Zack and his company have seen is merely a sign of the times. The future holds only bright upside and never-ending work alongside the best in the world.

Our Company Values

Our Process

From pencil to paper to in your hands. We start with intentional designs that translate into results. Our 3D printers do 10% of the work, the rest is done by us, every day, every night, and we have only our network and god to thank.

  • Designing

Our design process goes beyond basic function. We think carefully about how each product will be used, supported, and experienced in real-world environments. We explore multiple design directions, researching and testing different shapes, materials, and grip textures to identify what delivers the best performance and feel.

Through hands-on prototyping and iteration, we refine each detail until it meets our standards. Even the finishing touches, like color selection, are chosen with intention to align with the product’s purpose, usability, and overall identity.

  • 3D Printing

Our 3D printing process, fused deposition modeling (FDM), builds parts layer by layer by heating and extruding a thermoplastic filament through a fine nozzle.

Using Bambu Lab printers, we precisely control temperature, layer height, and print speed to ensure every part is accurate and repeatable.

This digital process is highly reliable. Once a design is finalized, we can reproduce it consistently without the variations of manual work. With built-in calibration, real-time monitoring, and quality materials, we can resolve issues early to maintain quality. The result is a dependable process that delivers strong, accurate parts every time.

  • Cleaning

After printing, each product is carefully finished and cleaned to ensure a perfect feel. Because we use filament-based 3D printing, we sand every model to remove layer lines and create a smooth, comfortable grip. This sanding step not only improves how the product feels, but also helps it last longer by reducing friction points that could wear down the rubber bands over time.

Once smooth, we apply a light conditioner to ensure all moving parts operate cleanly and quietly. We then install high-strength, military-grade rubber bands for consistent tension and reliable grip. Every step is intentional, making sure the final product is refined, durable, and ready for use.

  • Shipping & Packaging

Our shipping and packaging process is designed to ensure every GripDeck product arrives in excellent condition. Our tools arrive in product-specific packaging for reliable protection during transit.

Before shipping, every product is individually wrapped to prevent movement and reduce any chance of scuffing or damage. For overseas orders, we add an extra layer of protection by placing items in reinforced boxes with padding for maximum stability.
